We went on a l-o-n-g walk with Auntie Jane this afternoon. We started off across the fields we usually go in at the end of the road, down through the enchanted wood and onto the cliff path. Usually we turn back here cos this is sposed to be quite far enough for a puppy, but i's growing up now so She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed thought as I hadn't had much walks last week and will be having a quiet day tomorrow it wouldn't hurt to do a proper walk. We went all the way to those rocks sticking out like Smudges tail.
Auntie Jane taking selfies to send to a friend to show him where she's walking.
The scenic behind us.
Here I am with She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed
Auntie Jane posing for the piccie box.
Here we are again.
More scenics from the way we came.
We're getting nearer those rocks, they're called Pen Peles.
We're here. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed says that seals used to sunbathe on the rocks here and there's a cavern underneath us where they hang out in the mating season and you can hear the bulls roaring through the ground, but there's no seals here today only seagulls.
After we left Pen Peles we headed inland cos it was just as quick to go on as go back the way we came. When we left the cliff path I let She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed off her walking string and found a cool stream to have a drink.
This piccie has got in the wrong place. There was a BIG boat following us as we walked along the cliff path. It looks tiny, but it was a long way out in the big waters.
The path led through these woods with lots of daffydils
to this water wheel. I wonder why there is a water wheel in the middle of nowhere?
Then we went across some more fields to this deserted farm
If She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed had enough pennies she would buy it and rebuild it, but she hasn't so we won't be living here.
Then we went across a few more fields before we got back on the road and went home.
